Live Learning Cohorts

Family of God is unique in that it provides the opportunity to participate in live mentoring sessions where students can connect with other young family historians who are on the same journey.

One of the most rewarding aspects of family history is sharing discoveries with others.  Live Learning sessions provide a welcoming, supportive-but-structured, virtual environment where students can gather to collaborate, brainstorm solutions, celebrate successes, ask questions, and receive personalized guidance as they work through the program.  Students often learn as much (if not more) from hearing each other's challenges as they do from direct instruction, so these virtual sessions are intended to be a place of collaboration and community.

More Than a Class - A Supportive Learning Community

Family history research is full of surprises. Sometimes the clues are easy to find. Other times they require patience, creativity, and a little extra guidance.  The goal of Live Learning is to provide positive, encouraging support to students, helping them build not only family trees, but also confidence, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the people whose lives helped shape their own.  At the same time, parents can feel reassured knowing they have a supportive and experienced guide to help answer student questions and keep the learning journey moving forward.
